| Recycling and the greening of the environment was the philosophy of our Korean partners. Albedo has adopted this same philosophy of ensuring environmental friendliness in manufacturing.
We first got acquainted with our Korean Principal, DS & Co. while in search for more materials for steel-making solutions. They have a patented technology of recycling aluminium cans into granules, briquettes and billets which can be used as a deoxidizer in the steel making process as well as used as a feedstock for aluminium can sheet manufacturing.
We started initially by distributing processed aluminium to the steel mills in our region and eventually commenced a joint venture with this partner to set up a recycling and processing plant in Malaysia using their patented technology.
As a result, we run a 100% foreign owned plant in Malaysia together with our joint venture partner DS & Co. under the auspices of DS Albedo.
Today the products of DS Albedo are sold in Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, Taiwan, India and Korea.
