Our Group will endeavour to continue to develop and grow our business as follows:
• We intend to further diversify the range of products which we supply and distribute
In order to further diversify our business and to capitalise on business opportunities, we intend to enter into new exclusive distributorship agreements with our existing principals or new principals for products which we are not currently supplying and distributing. By expanding our product range, we believe that our customer base will also expand and this will enable us to forge new relationships with new principals and customers which will be beneficial to our Group.
• We intend to increase our production capacity
Currently, our Thai subsidiary TTS 2003 undertakes the manufacturing of cast products, in particular, iron and steel rolls. We intend to increase the production capacity of TTS 2003 through the acquisition of new machinery and equipment. In addition, we also intend to achieve, through the acquisition of new machinery and equipment, the production of larger sized steel rolls.
We believe that the increase in production capacity and the production of larger sized steel rolls will enable us to increase our sales to existing customers as well as expand our customer base arising from an increased ability to supply to new customers.
• We intend to increase our marketing efforts in Malaysia and Singapore and expand into new markets
Currently, Malaysia and Singapore are the biggest markets to which we distribute the products of our principals. We intend to strengthen and deepen our relationship with our customers to better understand their needs and to continually provide them with better services. As we already have a presence in Thailand, we intend to capitalise on this and expand our trading and distribution business in Thailand. We believe these efforts will further establish our presence in these countries.
We also intend to expand into new markets such as Indonesia, the PRC and other ASEAN countries through the setting up of new marketing and sales offices or by collaboration with local distribution agencies. If these efforts are successful, we will be able to expand into these new markets and continue to grow and develop in these markets.
• We may consider exploring strategic alliances and/or joint ventures
We may consider strategic alliances and/or joint ventures with our suppliers, customers and/or third parties as and when the opportunities arise. This will enable us to expand the scope of our business and the network of our customers as well as lower our operational risks.
